The Level 2 Electrician Sydney team recently completed an ASP electrical upgrade for a residential property in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, within the Ausgrid electricity network.

This project involved Level 2 electrical work on the property’s incoming supply, consumer mains and main switchboard. The work was completed by Justin, a Level 2 ASP Electrician, with support from his apprentice Isaac. The upgrade helped deliver a cleaner, safer and more reliable electrical service arrangement for the home.

  • Earthing and neutral connections organised as part of the broader switchboard upgrade
  • Final board installation completed with a neater, more professional finish

Technical Standards and Compliance Considerations:

As part of the Level 2 ASP upgrade, the work was completed with consideration for the relevant NSW electrical service requirements and Ausgrid network requirements for this type of installation.

This included consideration of:

  • NSW Service and Installation Rules for customer connection works
  • Ausgrid requirements for service connections and metering installations
  • AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules where applicable to the electrical installation
  • Appropriate consumer mains, metering, earthing, neutral and circuit protection arrangements
  • Safe access, connection and future maintenance requirements for the upgraded switchboard setup
